Our Little Free Library Initiative

We have partnered with local organizations in Cleveland County to install Little Free Libraries across our county.

In 2023, we installed 4 Little Free Libraries. In 2024, we have installed two additional libraries. Each library is open to anyone who wants to take a book or leave a book and each library is hosted and managed alongside us by the partners listed below.

What is a Little Free Library?

Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Their mission is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Library book-exchange boxes.

Their vision is a Little Free Library in every community and a book for every reader. We believe all people are empowered when the opportunity to discover a personally relevant book to read is not limited by time, space, or privilege.

This is why we have installed and continue to install Little Free Libraries around our county so that ALL can have access to a book and read, no matter what!
